I just made an hors d'ouerves type recipe for our school pot-luck which takes place tomorrow. real simple to do: 2 packages of cream cheese at room temperature, 1 envelope of Good Seasonings Italian Dressing. Beat together until blended and smooth. Spread on flour tortillas and roll them up pinwheel style. cover and place in fridge. when set, slice into 1 inch pinwheels. serve with salsa, or eat them plain. And no cooking involved!

Here is a good one...
1 package of sausage (you know, the ones in the "log")
1 lb shredded cheese
2 cups flour
some chopped onions (to your flavor preference - this is an optional ingredient)
Mix well then roll in little balls, place on cookie sheet (preferably a sheet with a lip on it because it will be somewhat greasy), cook at 350 for about 10 minutes (longer with the onions) or until the tops are a little brown.
Yummy sausage balls.

This is great and you'd never know it was healthy....
Mom's Banana Bread
From Cooking Light
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup light butter, softened
1 2/3 cups mashed ripe banana (about 3 bananas)
1/4 cup skim milk (I use 1%)
1/4 cup low-fat sour cream
2 large egg whites
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Cooking spray
Preheat oven to 350°.
Combine sugar and butter in a bowl; beat at medium speed of a mixer until well-blended. Add banana, milk, sour cream, and egg whites; beat well, and set aside.
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; stir well. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, beating until blended.
Spoon batter into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan coated with cooking spray; bake at 350º for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Yield: 1 loaf, 20 servings (serving size: 1 slice).
I just finished the last slice for breakfast this morning!! YUMMERS!
