Take a day of rest and some NSAIDs. See how it feels tomorrow.
You could have just pulled something the wrong way during your run or stepped on a rock/foreign object and the problem will clear itself up with time.
Give it a day or two to heal and if it doesn't feel like the pain is letting up, call in a Dr. for a diagnosis.
You may need to skip trying to crush your PR to avoid aggravating the injury.
Welcome Aboard, too!

I agree with ph.
Also, if you are running 30+ miles per week, you are not going to lose that much conditioning if your race is only 5 days away.
Remember the best cure for any injury is rest, so give it a few days, and see how it feels. If it still hurts see a professional.

Ditto to both *coaches*
Saratoga Springs, huh? I was born in Schenectady, then lived in Balston Lake for 5 years.

Ditto. Is it really worth risking further injury just to break a pr? Give it a rest!
