Guess what I saw while I was out running yesterday?

Guess!

Come on, guess!

That's right, a home-made pipe that was fashioned from an empty tube of toilet paper and some aluminum foil.

Danged tough economy. Pot smokers can't even afford a real pipe anymore. Mad

That's OK. If you have a soda can and a pen you can fashion some accessories as well. (I have a friend who can make something out of nothing. I always wonder how hw spent his childhood)

I gave her the baggie and shook the rest of it out of my jacket and told her where I found it. She said it was probably worth $40 (I asked, curiosity was killing me). She said that since there was no suspect, they;d just dump it out.

My guess is that the cops smoke it themselves--why do you think they are always are hungry for donuts. Confused

During college (I know "This one time at band camp...."), I lived in an apartment on the first floor of a house. The occupants upstairs never seemed to have a problem with knocking at our door at all hours (read: mostly late at night) and asking for tin foil as they would say "to wrap our kids sandwiches for school". Well we weren't rocket scientists (actually a metallurgist and econ major), but we did figure out what they wanted the foil for and that we needed to stop the late night intrusions. One night at about 1 am the knock came-- they asked for foil--"we were out of it" we said, "but you can use this wax paper just the same". We proceeded to demonstrate how to wrap a sandwich with wax paper. They declined the alternate stuff--guess their kids bought lunch at school that day.
They also didn't think they needed phone service and would always ask to use ours- to call cabs/jitneys.
Good times, good times.
