I have been suffering with a major infection in my throat since Thursday. It appears that the antibiotic the doctor gave me, caused a yeast infection in my throat and on my tongue.
My throat is so sore, I almost cant swallow and I can't eat anything solid.
Worst part of this is that I am teaching a class for Copteacher on Monday, and I gota get better...
So a prayer to the diety of your choice would be apreciated...

Thrush!!! I'm so sorry. I see it a lot a as cancer patients often get this while on the steroids they take during radiation. It looks like it would be terrible. I hope you get over it quickly. (did you get anything for it?)

Fluconazole 40 MG/ML Susp Ran
Cheryl...the back of my tongue looks like there are purple bruses on it , almost like the blood vessels have broken under the skin...and it is very tender. There are white spots all over my throat...
This is the sickest I have been in years.....

My ex-MIL got that after her cancer treatments, from the radiation and all the chemo. It took hers a while to go away, but her immune system was also compromised too, so it may not be that way for you.

If I can stand on my feet, I will be there.
I just checked on line from Cheryl's guess...and I am 100% sure it is Thrush. And a major cause is Antibiotics...
I am staying in bed all weekend and working on the class material.
