New keyboard (thank GOD!) so I can still write. Other good news; I learned today that a keyboard failure can cause the operating system to bomb out, so the wholle thing is apparently not fried, they think, and, I can take my hard drive out if I have to for backup and send separately and it still is under the warranty. So at least now I have a workable, albeit slow, PC at home.

I can't post from work. The post mode is diabled.
