Sort of. Untying the toys from the box that are secured with wire. That was a brilliant idea.

hope Kim didn't get any BARBIES. they are the worst as far as the tie-in mechanisms go. we still can't figure out if it's supposed to stop people from stealing them or to drive parents insane.

Oh, but just wait--MICRO MACHINES are made by the devil himself.

Not only is there assembly required on the "towns" but since everything is miniaturized, the stickers are miniaturized and once we got 4 big sheets of stickers to decorate the flight line and the town..etc, etc... Shocked

here's the latest evil at our house: Transformers

I didn't see the age recommendation on the box, but I'm sure Sawyer is too young for them. Every time he wants one of those things "transformed" he brings it to me. Do I know how to twist and turn them to change them from a space ship into a robot? NO In addition, they can be combined to make even bigger robots Twisted Evil again, I am the only adult person trusted with this duty.

Wire cutters man. The hell with untying. If you don't have any it's a great excuse to go buy a couple of different types. A dude can never have enough tools. I always liked assembling the Xmas stuff - down in the basement with my cooler and tool box and some tunes.....
