Hypethetically ('cuz that's what we do here in cyberspace), your inlaws are selling their house to downsize and rid themselves of mortgage payments. And hypethetically, there is something that fits the bill a mere two blocks from your house. Would ya? Could ya?

My girlfriend and i are moving into an apartment on friday. We found the place first. Her mom just moved into that complex last week, but in a different building. Sandy helped her mom find the place. It's okay, her mom is cool, but that poll was my exact situation. Since i like her mom, i was split between the first two choices.

It would be the coolest thing EVAH if my in-laws moved to my street! I love them more than my own parents, and my MIL freely admits she likes me more than her own son. Though the two of us tend to get into trouble together, so the po-po would be on my block more ....

NO WAY and NO HOW! If they were to move near us...there would probably be a sign in my yard (hypothetically speaking ).
My inlaws were only three streets over when I first got married. Six days later, while we were on our honeymoon, they moved states away to Florida. How did I feel? Happy of course.

the bfs moms parents live right across the street from our subdivision. luckily its the very, extremely well off inlaws so free money is given out frequently....
other than that, his mom is incredably close to her mom and dad (and aunt and uncle who live next door) and the dad gets along with them great too so its not a big deal...
however, if the bf and i get married, i do not want to live with in walking distance of his parents... nearby ok, but not in sight or walking distance

I get along with my inlaws, so I think it would be cool, and they already live near us anyways

I don't need to worry......if the in-laws came to WI...my husband would pack us. MIL always hints at living with us someday....hubby is the first to say "that'll NEVER happen".....so I have no worries

Both of Robin's parents are dead
We bought our current house with the intention of having her mom move in with us.
It would have been a pleasure have her either here or real close by (she was still only 2 miles away)

When my inlaws were looking to sell their house in MI and move down South, they looked at some houses that were less than .5 mi. away. I thought it would have been pretty cool.
I'll never know though because they chose to move close to my B-I-L in TN instead.
