I was and still am the family shrink, mediator and peacemaker, although I've been known to jump into a few brawls myself over the years....I am my cousins' kids favorite crazy Aunt Genie (and a good portion of my friends' kids as well) and I was always the Brainiac of the family. They were calling me Doctor when I was 7.

I'm the smart one, the tallest one, the youngest, and the runner.

My sister calls me the family drunk because I'm the only one that drinks in our immediate family.

I'm the oldest, and the only girl on one side of the family.

I was the underachiever, the athlete, the nice one. (the only one in special ed, so definitely not the smart one)

Now, I'm the student, the athlete, still the nice one, but I'm not as family oriented (I'm over 1000 miles away, can't do these family weekends)

My brother was always the runner, went to Cincy on a track scholarship, but we now share the title, and I run more.

No complaints from me.

Stop right there. My son is brilliant, but requires some special ed interventions.

No shame in getting help where you need it.

I was...
...the sensitive child. (cried easily)
...the spoiled baby of the family. (youngest by at least 6 years)
...the girl athlete
... the most sociable of my siblings

I am...
...the sensitive adult. I'm attuned to myself and often those around me.
...the youngest but not at all spoiled. I get to spoil nieces and nephews as well as my kids on occasion.
...still an athlete
... reserved (still) but still pretty sociable compared to them

Don't let Katt fool you--she's as sharp as a tack. I've spoken to her on the phone and she's witty and fun and smart!!!
