I live in the Georgia 4th Congressional District which has Cynthia McKinney in a runoff with former Dekalb Commissioner Hank Johnson. While all other precincts in Georgia have had sparse voter turnout, our district has been labeled as "brisk". We'll find out around 10:00 tonight whether my candidates won or lost.
In addition to Cynthia, the other Democratic Party runoffs in my district including Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, and Dekalb Solicitor.
Lieberman's race in CT will be interesting tonight also. I support him, but George Bush kissing him public did nothing for his image as a Democrat.

So, we have a bunch of non-voting communists on this board.

I voted last Tuesday. There were 13 pages of ballots to go through.

So now you get labelled a commie if you miss a vote that really had nothing going on?

Actually I don't really care of someone votes or not. I vote in well over 90% of local elections simply so I have a voice.
I used to have a very conservative Republican (he called himself Libertarian) roommate. He complained about Clinton and all the Democrats I helped vote into office. He loved Rush Limbaugh and George Bush. But I wasn't the least bit concerned because he never even registered to vote. Now if he was a voter I would have been more concerned about gently persuading him more to my idealogical ideas.

I'd vote if there was an election in my state, but since there isn't, I didn't vote.
I am still a commie

Our primary is in May.
I've read about Lieberman losing the dem nomination in CT. He's shooting toward being a third party candidate as an independent so that he appears on the November ballot. Interesting times... are his chances of being on a future ballot for the White House effected by this loss... hmm. Also, how will the dem party feel about him splitting the vote?!

I'd need more info about Lieberman before I could say anything about his chances of a presidential run or even splitting the party vote. With that in mind, is it possible he could lead the sorely needed 3rd party made up of the moderate voters?
