Posted: 12/23/02 - 14:29 Post subject: So what aren you actually doing on Christmas Day..???`
assuming that you celebrate it? Or what did you already do to celebrate?
We are roasting a goose, opening presents, trying to unpack and organize (being made more difficult because some essentials we have ordered for re-doing a room are not here and are late on delivery....(oh well).
Having friend Bobby over, as well as a few other people throughout the day (kinda like an open house)/ We will lay around in Christmas PJs and watch sappy movies and drink mimosas as well.

Normal workday for me. Up at 0430. Get my run on. Work 0700-1900 for double time and a half. Come home to have a nice dinner that Robin is preparing. Greg I think is coming over so some posting may be going on without my permission.

Tomorrow we will spend the day with Jerry's family - opening presents, eating too much - the usual.
Friday we will drive to my dad's house and spend the weekend with my family there, but actually on Christmas we won't do much. The kids will probably have their presents opened by dawn, and then we'll just hang out at home. Jerry is going to cook a turkey, but a fancy meal won't be much appreciated by the little ones who would just as soon eat PB&J.

Your dad lives on Christmas Avenue? What a coincidence, mine lives on New Years Boulevard.

Don't have any family in town and no one is coming to visit. I think we're going to see some of my wife's friends who also don't have any family in town or any coming to visit.
I was just notified yesterday that I'm cooking dinner. I'm open for suggestions.

Mix em. As long as the wine comes out of a box, you're in good hands...

Staying home.
Going to the track for my x-mas run.
Have some friends over later.
All the gifts were sent 6 to 8 weeks earlier so the suspense is pretty much over (that and they opened the gifts anyway), so the excitment value pretty low.
Then off to work on Thurs.
