I may do that. I really LOVE my philosophy class. We're learning about the Socratics right now, and while it's very heavy and very over my head at times, it's fascinating. Might be a good thing to read this summer, when I actually have time to read for pleasure. |
Oh, it's not a pleasure to read, and it is drier than...well let's just say it's dry. And be sure to have a solid dictionary at-hand.

But will it make me well-rounded? That's what I'm going for you know.

Hmmm. Hobbes' Leviathan, Machiavelli's Prince, Rousseau's The Social Contract, Ayn Rand's The Virtue of Selfishness, and Simone De Beauvoir's The Second Sex are goood well-rounded reads. Ask your professor for some recommendations, too.

I love Ayn Rand. Atlas Shrugged was great. Thanks for the ideas, and I will ask my prof. I guess we have quite an extensive philosophy section in our library. I should check it out.

Don't overlook The Fountainhead or Anthem.
