It's 5:29 pm. Here's the status.
My hubby and Avery are at Children's Hospital, she was admitted this afternoon. I've thrown up 4 times in the last 2 hours. Hayden was just picked up by Grandpa thankfully since I'm out of comission.
WHAT THE HECK??!!!?!?? 
Avery had gotten a stomach virus Tuesday, but seemed better yesterday. Today she woke up much worse, we went to the dr., she sent us for bloodwork to see if Avery was dehydrated, she was and needed to be admitted to the hospital.
When I got home with Avery from doing the bloodwork at 1 pm, I started feeling funky. By 3:00 I was puking. That feeling has not passed. Luckily my hubby is so far ok and able to stay with her at the hospital.
We had grandparents lined up for two nights away at Chateau Elan Winery and Resort in Georgia for the weekend. So that's off. Now with Avery in the hospital and me sick, I won't even be sleeping with my hubby on our anniversary. And I mean actually just sleeping even.
Crap, this sucks big ones. Oh well, we'll get through it and can HOPEFULLY reschedule our trip. I'm glad we maybe caught Avery's dehydration earlier than last time and she'll maybe only have to spend one night in the hospital. Poor thing, I feel so bad for her.
Ok, I can't believe I've been out of bed/away from the toilet long enough to write this. I think I need to go puke again.

I fully realize this is serious and I don't want to make light of the situation having had kids in hospital several times - fortunately nothing very serious. Good vibes coming your way.

Happy anniversary, I know what you all feel for each other isn't touched at all by this, except in a good way.
Hope she gets out soon and you feel better soon and you get your trip on soon.

I know exactly how you feel. It has happened more time than I care to remember. Just focus on getting Avery and yourself better, all of the other stuff will work itself out.
Just some helpful advice from a "pro" with sick children.

Thanks all. We're doing better this morning. A dr. friend was able to call me in some phenergan last night, so I finally felt better and got to sleep. Avery had a good night and is doing better. They ran more bloodwork this morning, but she's still dehydrated. They'll run more this afternoon to see if it's better and if so she may be able to come home, if not she'll have to stay another night. My hubby is doing well and hanging in there with her. Thank goodness he didn't get sick. Hayden has been a trooper and played quietly this morning and let me sleep in.
I'm luckily not feeling sick this morning and have kept down some toast. But I feel like I've been hit by a truck after yesterday.
I'm getting ready to call and try to postpone our reservations and see if I can get out of having to pay for a night since we didn't cancel 3 days before. I hope they may see the last thing I WANT to do is cancel!!!!
We'll get through this, but man, the timing has just been crapola!! It was crazy last night telling my hubby I loved him and happy anniversary once last time as I went to bed alone and he was at the hospital with Avery.
Hopefully by tomorrow we'll all be feeling much much better.

Avery and I are home! I went and spent the night with her in the hospital last night. She's doing much better and seems almost like her cute self. I'm better, too, just still tired and not much better after a night spent at the hospital. But oh well, my girl is well and home and that's all that matters!
We have our trip rescheduled for a weekend in July, so we're already looking forward to it. We think the week before we'll just put the kids in a bubble and not leave the house!!!!
