Well I stopped at a friends house and her 6 yr old grandson was there. He's a baseball fanatic and after I drank a beer he wanted me to pitch to him.  We had a blast, him hitting, me pitching and his grandparents(my friends) in the field. Then he said I could hit 3. He pitched to me. Overhanded.  And I couldn't help but blast the thing clean across the yard.  All 3 times.  I love to play sports with kids, don't you?

That's funny. I helped out at a local grade school track and field day.
I was starting the 200 yard dash.
The 4th grade only had one girl in it (and it was last event.)
So I told her I would run it with her! Man! She ran well! I had to keep on her heels and kept telling her I was catching up the whole time!
So I came in second. In the 4th grade 200 yard dash. One of my best races!

You'll make a fine grandparent someday. My FIL is like that. No mercy on my kids, sports, computer games, boards games, you name it, he mashes their little egos like pulp in juicer

Now I would never do that really. We were just hitting the ball and I was really just letting it fly to make his gramma(my friend) run after it, he thought it was really funny too. He's a pretty good pitcher for a 6 yr. old too. He invited me to his next Tee ball game.

you don't have to own them, but for the love of god, make them at least work for it.
