...so much music.

I'm like a junkie when it comes to getting my music fix. I can only go a couple waking hours without it. If the day ever came when Big Brother decided music was no longer a necessasity, I'd dig a hole and jump in. What a torturous existence it must be being deaf.

I must agree. I'd much rather be blind than deaf.

True, I'd rather be blind than deaf. But If I had to chose, it would be taste that I lost.

If I had to make that decision now, yes I agree I'd rather be blind. I however wouldn't have wanted to be raised blind. How does a blind person from birth dream? How do they visualize things they have never seen?

True. Then I wouldn't have to smell B.O. or someone's too much perfume.

You'd be surprised what blind people can see. All the other senses step up, especially touch. If they were close to you, they would know their way around your face a lot better than you could.

I always wondered how someone who was blind or never saw a reflective surface for instance, goes though life without a concept of what they look like.

I'd least like to be removed of the sense of touch. Could you imagine being immune to physical feeling? I can't.

Hard choice...

If I were blind... I could not behold the wonder of MW..or ride my motorcycle..
If I were deaf... I could not hear music or MW's voice..the birds and animals of the woods..
If I could not smell.. I could enjoy the smell of a meal MW and I were creating...the bouqet of a fine wine...or the soft scent of MW after...nevermind..that's private..

I think I would rather lose a few IQ points...than lose any of the above.. Stoopid is better than cut off from the world I love..

Or a concept of how anything looks. A concept of sight in general.

How would you explain Wordsworth's poem about daffodils to a blind watersnake?

If someone can identify where that quote is from, please tell me.

Thank you genie surprised you'd remember me as Tazmania.

Yes being blind would be a total bummer. The thought of never being able to see my loved ones is pretty staggering. Yes chills would fit!
