is but not others. I guess I must not be smart enough to understand this. Spoze that's why ya'll get to make the changes huh!

But seriously if you're getting all wrapped round the axle on my proposed changes maybe you understand a bit where I'm coming from.

Either that or I'm an idiot , homophobic , racist, sexist , and I don't like ice cream or beer

Well have a great weekend folks.

Since none of us seemed to get the point of your attempts then it became a moot point.

You still never answered the main question...

WHY is this even an issue? Why shouldn't two people who love each other be allowed to get married? And aren't there a lot more things wrong in this world, such as thousands of innocent people being killed in a meaningless war to settle an old family rivalry?

Why does what two people who love each other do in the privacy of their home offend you so much? And why shouldn't two people of any sex be allowed to celebrate in the sort of union that they wish? Why does this matter to you? I don't get how it offends you, or why. Confused

Shouldn't you be asking why you get to deny rights to people? I wouldn't be surprised if you had a slave. Seriously.

Here's a question for you. If you're born a hermaphrodite, does this mean you can never get married?

You can't "redefine" marriage to a union between a human and something that does not have human rights (animals, inanimate objects, the dead). Last time I checked, gays were human and deserving of all human rights. But clearly you disagree.

Fine. If you get to redefine it so do I. And let's not impose each other's views on each other or upon other people.

Again, how does what others define as marriage affect you?

my 'redefintion' was done to point out how absurd it is to redefine marriage to something it simply is not.

I believe marriage is a union between two consenting adults who wish to spend the remainder of their lives together. The gender is not an issue for me.
