there are whole websites devoted to determining if certain cartoon characters are gay. I mentioned Peppermint Pattie and Marcie from "Peanuts" yesterday. But there are plenty of others to consider: Velma from Scooby Doo, (Shaggy too for that matter), SpongeBob, Bert and Ernie, Popeye, the Pink Panther, and the most notorious Bugs Bunny.

For cryin' out loud, they're kids cartoons. Does every character made to entertain kids have to have a sexual identity?

LOL no they don't. and that is the absurdity of such speculation. I'd say that cartoon characters reflect certain personality types in our culture, and it stands to reason that some of them would appear to have a particular orientation based on those traits. to claim that one of the teletubbies is gay is absolutely insane because the characters were designed to be asexual. it is the adults who go back to the cartoons to assign new meaning or significance to the characters.

Yes I agree. Ask any child, hypothetically speaking, if this or that character is gay, homosexual, immoral, lesbian, alternative in their lifestyle, questionable in their sexuality, or whaever, and the kid is gonna look at you CROSS EYED. If they had any idea what you were talking about, they'd tell you to get over it, for God's sake, it's a dagburn rabbit in gloves...

I guess along those same lines what could we say about Pepe Le Pew? always hitting on those unsuspecting little cats with white paint down their backs? never getting the hint?

How about Wiley Coyote? Always falling prey to half baked schemes at the hands of faulty merchandise from that fly-by-night Acme, Inc.? Always chasing the dream, never enjoying the journey?

Where are our resident psychologists? hmm??

Almost every cartoon critter does! Is there not talent enough in the artistic world to draw all five fingers?! I can't watch The Simpsons anymore, 'cuz the four fingerness makes me queasy!

So when I Googled "spongebob + gay" I was presented with a link and when I clicked it, a video popped up of a father with his camcorder. He entered his son's room (the kid was about 11) and SpongeBob was on his television. The father made a comment about SpongeBob and the kid, unprovoked, said, "He's gay." The father wanted to know why he said that and the kid responded that SpongeBob wore a dress and used lipstick. The father then asked why wearing a dress and using lipstick made SpongeBob gay...I gave up at that point.

But I'm so unworthy. And it wasn't because my mouse froze....MY EYES LOCKED UP! So far...Level 12 with 61 lines remaining - 1,674,049.

You people are SICK!

I am so horrendously bad at this game it borders on ludicrous. Half the time the colors all change and I don't even know WTF happened!

I think my high score so far is under 150,000. I hate being terrible at, you know... stuff.

1.1something million, level 9.

bob, the tricks I've found are:
A: clicking on a bubble removes all the other squares of that color on the screen.
B: clicking the jelly fish takes out all blocks in a (?)block radius

that's all I've figured out.

oh, and clearing the screen of all colors gets you some pretty big bonuses.

in the lower levels there are only 3 colors. you can rack up bonus points by letting the wall build, then clicking on 2 bubbles of different colors, and clicking on the remaining blocks (of all one color). do it quickly before the next line jumps up on the screen. that will clear the screen and award the bonus points which are 10,000 at each level you do it.
