My dog gets a bow in her hair after we take her to the groomers. I think it's cute.

Saturday: Slept in, did some laundry, got my HAIRS cut (woo hoo) and drove up to Indy. Saturday night hung out on Georgetown Road for a while (OMG ).
Sunday: Up @ 5 (yes, in the AM ohhh ohhhh (best Sam Kinneson there)) went to the track. I cooked cheese omlettes for my entourage on a propane stove. They were impressed. Went to the Infield. Ok. Note to self. Infields, by yourself, are BORE-RING. Waited until Noon-oh-thirty for the race to start. My first one. Yes they are fast. Yes they are loud. Watched about thirty laps when... More rain. Race stops. I wait it out, bored. Get frustrated and hoof it back to the hotel, where my car waited for me. High-tailed it back to the Ville just in time to hear the radio reports of the tournedos [sic] I'd just missed
Monday: Went to work network was down so I went to lunch with a friend and then dinner with another friend, her family and my daughter. A fine time was had by all, even if we DID look at pictures of Paris (sideways glance at Francophobes in the house...) |
Those tornados were great! Aren't the indy cars loud! I couldn't believe it when I went a few years ago.
I almost went to the race this year because I was offered 10 tickets that were at the start of turn 3. With the accident Friday, I decided I didn't want to deal with traffic on Sunday.

I did it to keep the hair out of her face. When it's long like that it hangs over their faces and gets in their mouth and just isn't too pretty looking. The bow keeps it pulled up and out of their eyes. Actually, a rubber band usually gets the job done, and the bow is put in as a decoration. HYPERASHEL, you wouldn't understand unless you actually got a dog with long hair!

ok, i can buy that, but why not just give the dog a mullet? and as the fact my hair has NEVER been longer than 3 inches i'll never understand my hair in my eyes. Now Miss Steph's hair in my face is another thing, both and
