I am up early. I am trying to get to school early and set up for our Christmas program. First thing this morning, My chorus is singing, and the band is playing for the whole school! Then I get to go to my other building, rehearse with that chorus, then keep them after school, feed them, load them on a bus and take them to the mall to sing! If everything goes well, i might get back in time to catch some of my daughter's band concert this evening.

1 Program down!!!!!
and it went very well. Now, after nearly an hour of holiday music I was greeted with this: the teacher whose class was to be having music then (with only 20 minutes left of that period) brought her class to the front of the auditorium for me to watch, while she had her prep period!!! never mind that I've just given her an hour long break. Sometimes it's a thankless job.
just have tonight's performance at the mall, then another program thursday morning.

Look at the bright side, you won't have to worry about them sneaking off in the mall to surf at the ISP kiosk!

it went very well. the kids had a great time. I could see it in their faces, which were amazingly angelic, considering that I had to scold them about the bus ride.
I didn't make it to my daughter's band concert because there was a wreck that snarled traffic. her concert started at 7pm and I was done with our mall performance at 7, so it just didn't happen. I was hoping for a 7:30 start time for her program.
