Talk about your major rip off. A priority Mail shipment costs $ 3.85 and the box is free. Looks like a $ 3.86 PROFIT off your order.

Not for anything but did you go check at Home Depot/Lowe's for the knob ?

They actually told me I could get it in the service deparment at a larger Ace Hardware., which is 50 miles away along with Lowes, HP etc. Remember, I live in a town of less than 3000. I figured with gas, you know.

It just pissed me off they didn't tell me in advance. My equipment is black and red and it just looks bad. They sent it UPS too! Idiots.

UPS offers tracking and some insurance ($500?) at no additional charge. USPS charges extra, I believe.

USPS Insurance cost is minimal, like about a dollar for that item. BTW with the MINIMAL loss of packages the USPS incurs that's a big big moneymaker.

Tracking is available on Priority and Express mail for .45 cents.

Speaking of UPS... lets not forget the surcharge for gasoline costs, the surcharge for "rural area" delivery, surcharges for Saturday delivery...
