I've been known to do that too, but just enough to keep them off my eyelashes. Then I get to a professional as quickly as possible. Bad hair days are painful enough, bad hair weeks are excruciating!

I have been cutting my own for ages. The trick is that they are not supposed to be perfectly straight. The messier the cut the better.

I never learn that lesson. But I always need them cut before it's time to go to the salon, so I always end up cutting them and they usually look like crapola. Oh well, better to have that then them driving me crazy in my eyes!!!
