...and this girl walks up to me with some flyers in her hands and says.."Do you protest?"

She caught me by surprise so I said..."Not as a rule." Which is basically true. Taking it literally, no I don't attend formal protest gatherings.

But figuratively speaking, I don't protest much. In fact, I generally let my life happen as it will for a long time until I can't take it anymore AND THEN I protest (read make a change). I think that this happens so rarely that when I do speak up and get righously PO'd about something, I take people by surprise.

Sooo....does that mean that I am flexible or a doormat?

And what are you? A protestor or not? Or a little bit?

Don't protest myself.

However, came close to it one year when our school district was about to go on strike. You are not looked upon in a favorable manner if you don't stand up in those type of matters. Was glad it got worked out and didn't have to.

wow. wow. wow.

it's sad to say the road to change is such hardwork, because people say "this should be that way" or "that should be the other way" but nobody ever does anything about it.

granted a lot of people that do do it are so narrow minded that it almost defeats everything they stand for.

i keep an open mind, question all things, and take truth from everything, mix in a hint of logic, and then i make my own story.

that way i'm right. always.

oh ps. i have school, and a job, i don't always have time for protests. i do my best to make what good i can with what time i've got.

protests are useless. They do nothing to change anything.

Hit people in the pocketbook. Do not like something. Do not buy it and create popularity that way.
