There are almost 50 people coming so far and I'd feel bad to be so deceptive to so many people!

Oh please don't do that. I know a lady that does that. She does it so often that she sucks the joy out of every gift ever given.
On the upside, she COULD NOT predict her mother's day gift from her husband: A Direct TV set up.

Well, first of all my DH SUCKS at giving surprise parties so I heard it from HIM first! Since then I have had two other friends "let it slip" (not knowing that I already know). I just acted like I didn't hear or didn't understand what they were saying. In the mean time there is another friend elbowing them to death!
