Posted: 03/24/03 - 20:43 Post subject: So I cleaned our cars the other day
and took out a large bag of trash between my car and her van.
I found, french fries, hard (soft, stale) pretzels, pretzels sticks, pretzel rods, drink boxes, drink box straws, french fry containers. Miscellaneous paper work.
What is rolling around in your car(s)/truck now.

Nothing, my cars is immaculate inside. So is my wife's. No eating in the car unless we're on a road trip.
I can almost guarantee that I've got the cleanest 1989 Ford Ranger (inside) in existence.

Donate them through the Call to Protect Project (address at the web site). "The CALL TO PROTECT campaign collects wireless phones to benefit victims of domestic violence. Proceeds from the sale of phones help fund agencies that fight domestic violence and are also used to support the educational efforts of the Wireless Foundation. Other phones are refurbished and become lifelines for domestic violence victims when faced with an emergency situation."
Excellent cause - I've supported it for years because the money, etc. donated really goes to the victims rather than the organization's overhead.

My car, my coffee mug and a few toys in the back. I try to keep my car spotless.
My wife's? A different story. I finally learned to keep my mouth shut about it.

What appears to be french fries, some empty soda bottles, and salt from pretzels.

Hmmm... in the cab of my truck would be 1 qt of oil, the pivot pins for my plow wrapped up in an old towel. a gallon of windshield fluid and an empty dr. pepper can. what's behind the seat or under it lord only knows. the bed has empty beer and pop cans, a tow chain, spare tire and numerous pieces of bark and other extraneous wood parts from cutting wood last weekend.

Our minivan has a composting sediment layer of fish crackers that I'm planning to shovel into the garden soon for mulch.

Five empty water bottles at last count, plus 2 mini-sized that are full, on the passenger seat (mea culpa).
I noticed some brown pine needles on the driver's seat floor.
In the seat pockets the kids have stashed... lots of legos, paper & pencils, a gameboy game, etc.
On the floor of the passenger seat, a winter hat and striped scarf
