Time to head to home despot and purchase a case of spray insulation and start plugging the access holes.... I like snakes and all but I really wouldn't want them in the house with me.

j/k. I like snakes a lot, but I wouldn't want them bedding down with me at night. :shiver:

Dear Kimba,
We'd love to meet you at a race somewhere, but we will never, ever, ever, ever go to your house. Never. Did we say never?

Dear Riff Raff Friends,
Well, Rob's been by, but he stays on the porch due to doggie-dander issues.
The snakes generally taper off and disappear mid-summer or so!!!
Come by for a late fall bar-by, they should all be gone by then!!!

I wouldn't want Rob shedding on my furniture either. Good call.

i mean, not your garage or out building or under your deck or porch...but IN your HOUSE??? like it could be slithering up your stairs or wrapped around your toilet or in a shoebox or something???????????????????
and yes, dennis has some brass ones. |
Yes. Dennis caught one in our kitchen cupboards.
They seem to like to stay downstairs though, in his converted office/garage. Or the basement. I step very carefully through these areas. I also look into all the drawers before taking out a pot or anything!
Dennis wanted to leave them all in the house, and I put my foot down. That's all I want is to have one of these crawling into bed for warmth at night.
We have an old farmhouse. There are holes everywhere, there's really no way to keep all the critters out. |
I'm sorry, but this brings to mind a hilarious conversation of misunderstanding between the Mr and Mrs late at night in bed.
/Mr Aire would move out if ONE showed up in the house. No lie. He is not so fond of the snakes. |
hehe. I don't mind snakes, but the DH hates them. He wouldn't let me buy a fake one as a souvenier while on vacation/house hunting last week.
To be fair, I am terrified of bugs and rats. Maybe why I like the snakes.
That's a big black snake! We've only had corn snakes up to about 2 feet.
