i'm officially registered as of 30 seconds ago. officially.
i know i'll never make the NHL, but at least i'll be waaaay better then my friend that slacked off in Japan for a year.

ok, you got my attention  ice skating i take it though? Ice is cold  asphalt and concrete all yaer round and in shorts even is much better. when was the last time you saw a bikini clad ice skater?

ima skate forwards, backwards, sideways, around pylons, on one foot, all that fun stuff.
i kinda wish i'd committed myself a little more strongly back when i was 5. i'll be 40 before i can make up the last 17 years of not taking lessons.

yeah but you can't go as fast on the road. and it's really hard to find quality asphalt to play hockey on.
JU - it's only 30 minutes a week. i'll have to see if i can get extra time in at the public skates and that. when the outdoor rinks are open i'll spend a lot more time practicing.

sure you can go fast on the road, trust me the hard thing is the snow plow hockey stop on the road.
good asphalt on the other hand i can understand. no ashpalt rinks in Canukland, or is that blasephemous to even consider.
