Didn't they once extol the value of "The Sound of Silence"? Dudes ... take your own hint already.

Oh man, did you lose cool points with this one. That said, I was born in 1970. I liked my fair share of fluff (Donna Summer, the Bay City Rollers, KC & the Sunshine Band) but also liked real music (Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd). But nothing as heinously horrible as S&G.

When you get to mine and RR's age you realize you lost all your cool points a long time ago.

As another 1970 baby, I like Simon and Garfunkel. Great songwriting is great songwriting, and the delivery wasn't to shabby, either.
Just ask my friend Julio...

ex-friggin' cuse me -- talk about losing cool points. what is that array of slicked back crap listed above as "fluff"???? quite a difference in that bubble gum barf and the folksie, good writing stuff of good old S&G -- now COME ON little miss 1972 still in diapers.....Bay City Rollers are not even in my vocabulary.... i puke in their direction....
get with the folk Elkid - hello darkness my old friend.......
where have you gone Joe DeMagio..
S&G at least could write words and music.
do a little dance, make a little love, get laid tonight... or whatever it was........
major loss of cool points with Bay City Roller reference.

S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y NIGHT!
I am in shock that monk would like such atrocities. The po-po might be losing his serious competition....
<realizing she stepped on a very delicate nerve, no doubt due to RR's shame at liking crap like S&G, elkid backs away from the rock>
