Or may have a tendency to overeact... I should add the "Banana Boy" costume is about 8 feet tall...
Banana Boy charged with disorderly conduct

Chris Phelps is a mild-mannered 20-year-old ACC student and cameraman at WNCE-TV 8 in Glens Falls. His alter ego is Banana Boy, a crime fighter and cast member of TV 8's sketch show "The Ravacon."
Phelps said, "We always are coming up with characters and coming up with situations. And this was just one of the ones that people take notice to."
While shooting a fight scene in Hudson Falls on Thursday a Washington County Sheriff's Deputy noticed Banana Boy and two members of his bunch.
The deputy mistook the act for a real knife-point attack and immediately took action.
Make believe mugger Luke Van Scoy said, "All the sudden we just heard screaming and I looked over and there was the gun pointed at me. It was such a serious moment for me. So I immediately dropped the knife and kind of put my hands up and took off my wig and mask."
Phelps said he too broke character. But if he was still being Banana Boy, he would've well, split.
A crime-fighting fruit found himself in a real pickle. A scene from Banana Boy's TV show actually got him in trouble with the real crime fighters in Glens Falls.
Phelps said, "Banana Boy in this situation would probably fly away if he thought he was going to be arrested. But Banana Boy wouldn't really be arrested."
But Phelps and his crew were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. And in character or not, they'll be in Hudson Falls Village Court on December 15.
But like most superhero stories, Phelps said this one too teaches a valuable lesson to all make believe crime fighters.
"I guess we just have to be more cautious about what we're doing," he said.
The real crime fighters agree with Banana Boy. The officer who came upon the scene said he saw a crowd and a man with a knife, (Ed note: Somehow failing to notice the person in an eight foot banana outfit...) and did what he was trained to do.
When all was said and done the misunderstanding was resolved and everyone is safe, just how Banana Boy would have wanted it.

This is where "Runs Like a Girl" lives.
Interestengly, we do not have town PD here. We have a contract with the NY State Police and the Sheriff's Dept (Not the same as the one in the Banana Boy story) to provide protection.
