Posted: 12/15/04 - 07:38 Post subject: Sigh....................Vacation's over my own Amazing Race
Let's See
Nov 29
Kansas City to Ft Lauderdale then drive to the middle keys 1,376 miles
Dec 6
do that in reverse 1,376 miles
Dec 7 Kansas City to Las Vegas (via) Salt Lake City 1,287 miles
Dec 10 do that in reverse 1,287 miles
Dec 11 Kansas City to Seattle WA (via) Salt Lake City 1,608 miles
Dec 14 Seattle to Kansas City (via) Cincinnati & Atlanta (yes I know how to have a good time) getting home before midnight 3,030 miles
Total time home between trips 18 hours
total miles 7,301
Too wired to sleep and my first day back is at noon in the office.
But I'm happy to report that this year I was able to take all of my vacation instead of giving back days (6) like i did last year. Also happy to take donations as well.
Thanks to kristin31 & Larry for a good trip in Flordia and thanks to the people of Las Vegas from receving more than giving, and thanks to the people in Seattle for the rain and cold temps (thought I was in Ireland again).
But most of all I want to thank TiVo for taping all my programs.
Its going to be strange heading back to work afte three weeks off but the good news is after this week....................... I won't see the bosses till Jan 3, 2005

this was just vacation only, no races and very little running (except running to the next departure gate)

Circus Circus, Tropcanna.
Had a chance to see the Improv at Harrah's, and Penn & teller at the Rio.

Thank you!. You're lucky, Mr. It's freezing here now (in the low 50's at night). It sucks with no central heating.
Glad you had a nice vacation!!!
