I think its too big, my wife thinks its too big. I think the time has come to get a smaller one. At 7.5 its just too darn big. .
So should I refinance my mortgage?

Depends on what rate you can secure and what your refinancing costs will be. They say you need to be able to drop about 2% in order to make it worth your while.

I've heard the 2% rule too.
Our mortgage is at 6%, doubt we could refinance to make it worth his while.
