I am the baby. By the time I was in high school I think my parents were just tired. I could have gotten away with murder, but they instilled the fear of God in me, so I was pretty innocent. But, I never had a curfew because my parents didn't want to stay awake to enforce it. So there were weekend nights I'd be out until 2-3 watching movies with my friends in their basements rebel I was not
After attending last night's concert and seeing entire high schools' worth of kids, all smoking pot, I remembered my parents didn't let me go to concerts in high school. Well, no, I was 17 when they started allowing me to go. And I know I had no clue how to access pot, much less did I have an interest in finding out. /power dork mathlete

My parents wouldn't let me see PG-13 movies, or date boys until I'm 13 and 16. So in middle school I rebelled against them by doing sexual things with boys that were not age appropiate. I got in a lot of trouble and realized that that was not the brightest choices.
Eventually they figured once I began high school recently that if they let me talk to boys on the phone or be with them when there is adult supervision, then I won't rebel, and that all I wanted was guy friends without being mortified by their behavior.
