Instead of breaking it down into paragraph form I'll just give you a list of some 'notables'...

-Only got 4 hours of sleep the night before
-Wanted to run a controlled race keeping it below 8 minute miles.
-Largest race I've ran! 4,861 runners!
-At mile 4 I hear 'Hey Joel!' and I turn to look and it's my boss! Shocked (and yes, I beat his ass Twisted Evil )
-2 big hills on this course, the last one was a 'killa' (c-jay? sue? witness?)
-Got SUPERSOAKED at mile 5 by a pack of kidlings! Mr. Green
-Splits, that I can remember...
1 mile- 7:46
3 mile- 23:01
5 mile-38:46
Finish- 47:21

woo hoo- Average pace 7:38 Place: 782 out of 4,861

woo hoo2- a shiny new 10K PR for the shelfster!

(and I didn't see sue and c-jay? sniff sniff...)

Winner crossed the line at 28:56 Confused

Way to run fast man!!!!!!!!!!!! You know I did look for you before the race but there were so many people that after awhile they all look the same Wink Congrats on the PR as well. I'm sure we will meet up in Kewaskum, a few less people there......

Yeow Joel!!!

That PR looks good on you, man Wink Don't get too used to it though, cause I'm pretty sure you'll be bringing it down again here in the near future.

Kudos!
