Very sad indeed. There is a slight sense of relief that it was a previous condition, that there was nothing that could have been done. When I first heard about it Sunday I thought she must have dehydrated. But still just as sad.

Wow. She did a 3:40. I did a 3:47. That means that I was there at the time it happened.

Truly sad. How many people have defects that they don't even know about? Reading Genie's post about having 6-months to live and you should do what you want to do in order to enjoy life, what if today was unknowingly your last day? Carpe Diem!

What an amazing woman! And very talented as well. I think the world has lost a bright, shining star. The only positive is that she died doing what she loved best: being active and getting her BQ.
