Short Version:
# Age Time Pace
----------------------------
337 26/30 53:11 10:39

Long Version:
Due to weather and other conditions.. I haven't run in about 3 weeks. I felt it. Around mile #2 I started to be okay and then about mile #4 1/2 everything hurt. Just everything. Andy encouraged me, it's the only way I made it still running. Afterwards, my only thoughts are... I've got to get back into it. It's been about a year (March 2004) since I started running. I don't have the exact date, it's just been about a year. So looking back, I think I've come a ways. I started with the Couch to 5K plan, and now I have run up to a 10K. I'm hoping to run a Half at some point next year... I think. Anyways, it was a beautiful day, perfect weather, nicely put together race. I'd like to do that one again next year. Hopefully with better times!

Happy running anniversary. Smile

You went out and finished. Already more then most people. Just get back to some consistance and you'll see great improvements. Kind of reminds me of a quote. Wink

Nice race, mickeyvw! Glad you had some good weather, and that you got to see a little bit of lovely Glens Falls!

Nice race! If you stay consistent and the improvements will continue.

It definately helps having training goals - aiming for a half marathon in a year sounds like a pretty good motivator!

Sorry we missed you! We had Bailey's this time. Mr. Green Yummy. Andy's still trying to get me to run the Prospect Mtn. one. I just can't get past the running uphill the whole time!

Well done, Mickey! Mr. Green

Definitely try to run it next year so you 1) have an immediate goal - to beat this year, and 2) you can see your progress over a year's time.

I'd just like to add, it was Mickey that helped me keep my pace as fast as it was (About 10:30 or so).

Race was great as always. To show you all the vagaries of the weather around here, two years ago I did the race in running shorts and a t-shirt. This year it was tights and Cold Gear top.

(For the funny people, yes I had shoes and socks on)
