Anyone run the 9-11 memorial race on the 4th? This is my first post so greetings to all. We had a great race in Arlington, ran by the pentagon which was really cool. Weather was great maybe a little warm, but a great run. Was wondering if anyone else had.

Thank you for the welcome.
Its a 5k to raise money for the Sept. 11th fund. About 1500 registered this year and 1200 or so finished. It was a little crowded but it was chip timed which helped. I only ran in the 28:00 range. But I have not had a chance to train much recently. It was my first actual race and it was alot of fun. I am looking for another one now. I am looking at training for a TRI next year as well.

Welcome to the club.
28 minutes for your first 5K is pretty good. Good to hear the number of people who came out for it to.
And to Cappy's remarks about the experience some of us (not me, though) have in tris. It's a good place to get info and insights.
