I'm all set to teach!
I worked very hard these past two weeks to get my classroom in order. Last year was a "fog" to me and I barely had my desks set out for Open House. I didn't know up from down. Well, what a difference one year made. I met the students/parents last night. Everyone seemed nice and excited. Nearly ALL of my last years kids came by to hug me before seeing their 5th grade teachers. I told them it was "time to fly into the 5th grade". Heartwarming really.
I'm excited for today. I get to see 27 new sweet little children and hopefully mold them in the right way.
BTW. This year's theme in my classroom is "CAN-DO ATTITUDE".

I'm so happy for you! You seem really excited, organized and ready. Last year was tough for you, this year will be much better it's a given! Good luck Noley!  Your room looks fab!

Being married to a teacher, I can attest to you being excited, my wife doesnt start for another 2 weeks and she cant get in her room until monday, so she's been chomping at the bit to get going, our house looks like a staging area right now for school supplies
