Next semester [due to the evil lock-step program] I can only take 3 engineering classes in my curriculum. There are tech electives available, but I don't meet the prereqs for most. The ones I can take are like "corrosion science" and "vibrational fatigue of ferrous alloys." Not exactly stimulating if you ask me. So I'll be taking it easy with 3 engineering classes. But I want to take at least 12 hours, probably 15. So, here's where you come in. I need the easiest possible classes to take. I've already filled my gen-ed requirements, so I'm just going for major slack-off classes. I'm talking classes where if you go to class, you'll get an A. I don't want to have to do homework, write papers, or read the book. Examples (ones I've taken): Astronomy 1101 & 1103 (solar system and stellar astronomy respectively), Theatre 1001 (intro to), Sociology 2001 (intro to), EE 2950 and 3950 (4 months of applying ohm's law). I'm much better at sciences than anything else, so that would be a plus. If you know of a really easy minor, even better. Throw ideas at me!

I schedule tomorrow, and the cush classes will fill up within the week.

How about a gym elective? Play volleyball for a couple months and get credit? Swimming class? Weights?

I'd say take Intro to Psych but all we do is write papers.

I have a better idea - I signed up for two 6 week summer courses, Philosophy Of Ed and Methods & Materials In Secondary Schools. You could take them for me!

I have tough Legal Research next semester, so I'm pairing that with Intro to Computers (can you find something similar?), figure I can somewhat skate in that course. Want to find one more "easy" class and am in a pickle myself.

good luck, and let us know what you pick.

well let's see...

I took Marraige a Sociology class that was interesting and easy.

and

all the PE activity classes were easy "A"'s, but they were only one credit.

umm...

are you into coaching...because if you like a sport, and know alot about it, a methods of coaching class are fun, and easy too if you have some knowledge.

Marriage and family classes were no brainers.

My public speaking course was a blow-off, too.

Mr Aire said his philosophy courses were super easy.

In some departments you can sign on to be a "teacher's aide". You work it with the teacher, sign up for a course name that they've designated for the assistants and you get credit for grading papers, carrying materials and supplies, and easy stuff. I did this for a Marriage and Family class--the hardest part was paying for the course, because the rest of the semester was super-easy.

Advertising courses are always a lot of fun.
