i expected Pitt to win. I was shocked t see the Bengals doing as well as they were especially on the back-up QB. I wanted the Bengals to win actually.(partially to see Jen freaking out on the board) but Pitt finally showed up for the game, just 15 minutes late. the second half was all Steel.
NY on the other hand, WTF did they forget how to play?

We should have taken Rothlesburger out and played second strings against each other and leveled the playing field.

Well, it's not like the Cincinnati defense didn't try! They just couldn't get the job done.
And I thought that Cincinnati was using their second string defense! Probably not, though. Their defense was pretty much like that, all year long.

are you forgetting that ben has been out? altho he was taken out early in the season.. yeah, he was out for a while with a knee injury and so we played the second string who also went down to injury  so we played third string who really struggled  and----LO and behold--- we still made it to the playoffs.  just kinda sayin.

It's an old, old expression/cheer, whatever relating to Huldepohl (sp?) beer, which I believe is brewed in Cincinnati or at least popular in that city.
For a while back in the late 80's/early 90's, the big cheer for Bengals fans (the year they were in the Superbowl) was "Hu Dey, Who Dey think gonna beat them Bengals?"
You'd have to have lived in or around Ohio at the time to know it.
