Unfortunately the second half was all Steelers. For the record wife and I were rooting for the Bengals.

I don't think the Bengals would've won that game even if Palmer hadn't got injured. Might have been considerably closer though. Torn ACL, they hope to have him back by the time pre-season opens.

I didn't really think they were going to win, either, until the game started. But, seeing the fire in their bellies in the beginning of the game, I might have been wrong.... doesn't matter. We'll never know.

The most disappointing aspect of the day?
All season long, the talk (at least, in this area) was about the Bengals' fans. Indeed, one of the local television stations had the Bengals' "Super Fan" segment, every night.
Apparently, there weren't many of them in attendence at Paul Brown Stadium.
Fifteen years between playoff games, the stands were beginning to empty by the fourth quarter. With more than eight minutes remaining in the game, down by a mere two touchdowns, the stands were becoming quite barren.
It wasn't the team that was disappointing, it was the "fans."
