I watched a 5k. Or the start and finish I should say. Small race, not more than 40 people. The organization was pretty poor, run by only a handful of college people. I think they kinda winged it on placement of start and finish lines. Seeing as they were setting up the finish chute while everyone was running and saying "where should we put the finish?"
Odd finish times though... winner ran a 16:52, then 2 people at right around 17:00, one at 17:32, then no one for 4 minutes. I would've been in no man's land for the whole race.
