yeah the heat today was a big part of my problem, the humidity was high, it was in the 80s when I started my run at 5am and it only got hotter. The kind of day you'd have to be crazy to do more than 3. Walking 3 miles.
Then I thought I'd be a cool kid and run with people who do LSD's at about 2 minutes faster than my normal long pace. I did that for almost 6 miles then started the Long Slow Death process. So thats why people say negative splits are good.
I'm giving up running for quilting.

So four of us (including Kimba doing a half) went 13? That just seems funky to me. In a good way.

23 miles on the bike through the forest preserve. Took me 2 hours and 10 minutes. Hot and humid, but what else is new?
