XC meet this morning...had a terrible 5k. 18:09, extremely windy course. I chickened out when I got passed by a fellow runner, and went from 1st place on varsity to 5th. I have another meet this thursday, hopefully I will redeem myself.

Well I went sans MickeyVW to Saratoga State Park and had a very nice one hour run. ALL HILLS !!! I'm thinking the 4 - 5 mile range.
Start off about 1 mi flat and downhill then up the hill, turn around, go down and go up the next hill, turn around, hit the bottom and go up the next hill. When I got down it was run to the next major hill climb. Up the hill, then flat to home.
I did all hills because I felt the need to strenghten up the legs a bit more. Besides, the days are getting limited here. From December to about March we won't be able to do too much in the park.
