While at the race last week, I did make an investment in some new shoes, a pair of Saucony Omni 4 (my first pair of Sauconys). Broke them n today with a easy little run. Shoes feel great, which is always nice on your first go.
4.031 miles in :34:14.00.

Crappy run today. Was going for 3 and only barely got 2. I just felt really sick and dizzy all of a sudden.

3 mile run on EXTREMELY icy multi-use trails, 8F degrees.
Had a pretty nasty wipe out 1/2 mile in. So far I think the only injuries are a skinned left knee, sprained ring finger and bruised ego. When the scrape on my knee stops throbbing I will be able to tell if there is anything more serious (but I don't think so).
Slid for about 3 or 4 meters after the fall, I must have been quite the sight! I guess that's what I get for trying to run on ice.

5.75 miles somewhere under 50 minutes. I live on a hill, so the end of the run is always killer.

60 minutes of weight training: abs, legs, shoulders. Set a new personal best in the leg press! Woot!

After feeling crappy all day, I talked myself into spending 30 minutes with the weights. I feel a little better now.
