10 miles: 1:44 (ave 10:24)
I'm home for the weekend and this is my first attempt to do any kind of training outdoors. I'm not happy with how I did. I set out for 9:45 - 10:00 minute miles and did fine until the last loop. I got dizzy didn't feel like I had enough gas to keep going. I had to walk on the last 1.5 to make sure I was ok. I HATE WALKING!!!!
Here are my splits on that 2.5 mile loop:
24:48
24:05
26:29
29:00
I forgot to add that this was very tough on my quads.
Can I do this? Why am I doing this?
I have a new mental game going.
BTW. I was supposed to do 11 miles today.
This is all I've got from my old loop de loop de loop de loop on the right side of the world...

7.06 miles in 100% humidity (but not quite rain) in 1:01:36, an 8:45 mile.

Nice monster run Cheryl!
Me, I did ten miles on a nearly perfect fall afternoon. 52F degrees, sunny and leaves changing colour. This was my only run this week due to being sick and spending most of my free hours at the hospital.
10 miles, 1:21:10, 8:07avg pace. My legs felt pretty fresh after a weeks rest!

20 miles, 3:04:35 - it was raining the entire time. 13 miles was at 1:30:xx and 18 miles was 2:43:xx. The last two miles were tough (aren't they always?)
Part of my run is thru a state park and goes right by the visitors' center. I took 1:24 or so to go pee

..I FEEL COMPELLED TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT: Looking at the above there's no way I ran 1:30:xx for 13 miles. I don't record splits on my watch; I just remember the time. Of course, after running three hours my brain's not gonna be too dependable. 18 mile split looks about right, though, and the overall time is accurate (and not too bad for me .)
