5.1 miles
42:49
Average pace 8:24
This was supposed to be a 9 mile long run but nature called and there was no place to stop. So I had to cut it short after the 5 mile loop and head for the restroom. I was really looking forward to the 9 miles too. I could go back out, but I think I'll just run tomorrow instead. Way too many people, too little place to park, and traffic is terrible because of gameday.

20.1 mile long run in nice cool weather this morning in 2:38:09. Overall felt fresh and strong on the run except for a nasty unleashed dog that suddenly w/o warning chased me before being shouted at by it's owner...nearly gave me a heart attack Don't know the reason why (and I don't want to give all dog owners a bad name) but my area seems to have plenty of irresponsible dog owners and nasty dogs...it was just 3 days ago that I was attacked twice by 2 different dogs while on a warmup for intervals..Anyways I'm done with my rant...

Sounds like you're a popular one with the dogs. I'd be pretty ticked if it happened to me that often.

2.14 road cycling slow, 14 min. just to warm up my legs.
3.55 mile run in 34:47. Very hot and humid.
What's up with the dogs today??? I too was chased from out of no where by a boxer. I thought he was gonna grab my ass for sure. I let the owner know that too. My heart skipped like 5 beats!

Long Run Tonight.
Started at 8:00pm
Ended around 9:46pm
Time: 1:46
Distance: 10.8 miles
Pace: 9:50
Good training run. I felt it on the last laps around 1:20 in time. I couldn't feel my legs at the end. They felt like rubber. However, I made it and did 15 more minutes of running this week. I figure I should double this by the end of it all and some.
Splits (1.8 mile loops):
17.31
17.54
17.54
17.45
17.22
17.32
Not bad for pacing IMO. I'm not looking for speed right now. I just want to keep my pace at a good rate, do all of my long runs on the road (not the TM) and work my way up to 4 hours in duration.

I intended to run in the afternoon but there where to many people in the park so I did my run in the evening. I ran not as far as I usually do to recover from my previous run. It went great so I ran a bit faster than normal.
I did a 1.8 mile run in about 17min. that’s an average of 10.6km/h or 6.6mile/h.

Very little distance needed - three miles - today with the club. Wound up doing 3.653 miles in :30:50.24. Uneven splits at 8:28.90, 8:11.25, 8:40.95, and (projected for a whole mile) 8:30.17.
