See him give that guy the ball when he ran it in? I love it when they do that.
It was delight and despair again and again and again. That second field goal I swear my heart stopped.

which worries me. will this end up like Neil O'Donnell back in '96?

I think he was nervous, too... they guy probably never dreamed he'd be quarterbacking in a playoff game this soon. After all, his mama was watching...

You can look at it that way... but I don't feel bad about that, and I'm sympathetic and realistic enough to feel bad if it were a different situation... the Steelers rocked this year... if they were ever going to have a rotten game and win by the other team losing I'm glad it was this playoff game, because I think they deserve to go to the Superbowl.
Don't hate me!

You don't say?
I was just pointing out that the Jets had not one, not two, but three chances to win the game after the 2 minute warning, and they still blew it.

I was rooting for the Steelers but they didn't play as well as I thought they would. They're lucky the Jets had no offence.

it's amazing what a winning football season can do for the collective spirits of a town... unfortunately western pa has tend to have too many fanatics not just fans... my SIL practically yelled at me when she found out that i hadn't watched the game... heck, i don't think that USAirways employees will even miss their jobs if the Steelers win the big game, especially if they company times their announcement just right... okay, i lied - i did see about 10 minutes or so when they were winning
