right now, go have a baked boneless chicken breast, a huge one! that will take the hungries away, keep sugar stable and help build muscle. ok, how about a few hard boiled egg whites? ok, a package of tuna fish? i know, they aren't exactly available in the vending machines. sorry.
i'd bring some tuna though, that stuff in the envelope fills me up and makes me not want food again for a good looooong while.

i swear i'd do it.
my son has finally endorsed the lean protein and lots of it philosphy... it's basically a free food as far as blood sugar goes. i'd only wished he'd of have gone for it when he was in kindergarten.....here's your birthday treat for the class honey...egg whites and tuna fish!

I agree about the water....did you see my post in the other day's dinner thread that said the same thing? Higher protein = increased load on the kidneys = more water being pulled from the tissues to flush your system = increased hydration needs. <---- Cliff notes version
