If your last name was 'Fuchs', how bad would your life be?
What's the correct way to pronounce it?
(i'm working on a billing project today...)

There's a radio announcer in SE Michigan named Dick Draining.
I think "Fuchs" is pronounced "F'yooks." Rhymes with "pukes."

ohmigod.
This could be and most likely is total coincidence, but WAY back when I lived in Brookfield, WI, we had a neighbor with that last name. I do believe he was an accountant for an engineering firm in Milwaukee.
If it's the same guy I will laugh my tush off. He wasn't very nice anyway (or it could be that he didn't enjoy the random softballs, frisbees, soccer balls, whatever that always ended up in his yard).
(BTW, it was supposed to be pronounced with a long "u", but no one did).

My Dad used to be friends with a guy named Dick Butt. When I was a teenager he called for my Dad and I hung up on him thinking it was a prank call.

In my town, realtors have the weirdest names including a Don Butt and a couple whose first names are Pluto and Venus. Reminds me of the Simpsons when Bart does a prank call to Moe asking for "Seymour Butts" and "Amanda Huginkiss".
