That's was a thread over the weekend. Mumia and Rush are totally seperate issues. Mumia is a no good piece of crap cop killer. Rush is a conservative commentator. Big difference.

But that is just the point with Rush, genie. He does judge people - everyday. He has shown zero understanding for anyone with differing views and zero compassion for anyone who doesn't met his standards of how life should be.
He has said in the past all you have to do is say no to drugs, its that simple and yet he himself couldn't do that. Life is not as black and white as Rush would like to pretend it is - maybe this will teach him that.

CB, EVERYONE judges people. I do, you do, we all do. That's human nature. You'd be hard pressed to find a person on this earth that has not been guilty of that at one point or another. I agree that he's way more abrasive than I care for, I've never really been a die-hard Rushie like my roommate and his dad were, but there are many out there like him, on BOTH sides of the political spectrum. I don't particularly like the guy but I think the media, as usual, is blowing this all out of proportion. Howard Stern is way more controversial than Rush, and a hell of sight more disgusting, but do they whine and cry about him? No.

I absolutely agree!! I myself have learned very valuable life lessons about black and white thinking by having to go through difficult stuff. Sometimes that isn't always possible, so if this becomes a life lesson for him then perhaps that's what was meant to come of it.
