tank: more like a t-shirt if you cut off the arms and neckhole: generous cut; more coverage because they do cover a bra fully; a woman's singlet.

Ahhhh...I see! I was thnking of the non-runner's tank tops which are basically cotton & spandex and rather clingy. Don't much like those. I always thought the wimmins' running ones were also called singlets. I agree though--if possible we should do a men's and a wimmins' cut.
