I'll be in Phoenix in ONE WEEK!! Well, okay. A tad over one week.

Is there going to be a "fluids round" (scrubs term for drinks at a bar) Friday night? Are we planning on getting together Saturday at all? How about after the race?

I'm planning on going to the post race party for as long as I can. My flight leave Sunday night at 11:30 (Phoenix time).

Hey KobyJ,
Friday night I'm going to a party for the Childhelp Team at Jillians in North Scottsdale but I'm sure there will be alot going on in Tempe and South Scottsdale. On Mill Ave/Univesity there lots of great restaurants and bars to visit.
Have a great flight to Phoenix. It should be a beautiful weekend. I guess they are predicting warm temps with 50's at the start and 70's at the finish.
Where are you staying? Are you planning to run on Saturday morning? If you want suggestions on where to run, let me know.

Well as usual something has to go wrong...
Our sitter for the weekend just canceled on us so either we'll be bring my two wonderful but active girls (5 and 7) which kind of makes me nervous cause my wife would have to watch them alone and they are way more active then she is or I come up alone. I dunno, I'll let you all know what happens. You either get to see 3 beautiful women (two of them tiny) or one semi-grumpy and semi-old man. My son is also supposed to come down from Flagstaff and meet me at the finish so maybe that will still work out. I'm giving him my medal, it will be a speical thing for him cause he has CP and couldn't do it himself (although he wouldn't mind if I pushed his wheelchair for 26 miles). One day I'm hoping to find a 5k where I can do that just so he can tell folks he was in a race.

I'm rambling, it's early here and I can't sleep. Sorry about that.
